This 1200 s.f. two bedroom, two bathroom condo with sleeping loft and comfort sleeper in the living room in quiet, west-end neighborhood directly across from lift #7. Both bedrooms are on the lower level. The master has a high-end queen murphy bed and mattress set, 300+ count cotton linens and flat screen TV. The other bedroom has a king bed with a tempurpedic mattress set, large, wall mounted Roku TV. The living room has a King Size comfort sleeper which sleeps like a high end bed and the loft has a high end queen and twin bed. Designed like a townhouse, there are no neighbors upstairs or downstairs, and the next door neighbors have a firewall between you so it's quiet. The master bedroom has a steam shower and vanity, with additional vanity sink/mirror adjacent and a mini-fridge/freezer and microwave along with a separate entrance. Original artwork decorates the interior.
Both bedrooms have bureaus, flat screen TV's with cable and remote. Off of the living area are the kitchen which has a convection oven, ceramic stove, microwave, etc., complete cooking and serving utensils, pantry and full size LG frontload washer/dryer. We recently upgraded the interior with upgraded finishes including a ventilating skylight in the loft as it is our home! Covered parking, a hot-tub and a swimming pool (only 2 swimming pools in Telluride!) and directly across from the ski lift and ticket window for easy access to in-town skiing.
There is a town loop bus that stops right next to the condo for a 2 min. ride to Main Street shopping and the FREE gondola. Buses come every 10 minutes, or walk 5 mins to downtown Telluride for shops, restaurants and nightlife. The bus also stops at Town Park which is 5 mins away and where the festivals take place. The local grocery store, Clark's Market is 100 yards to the north and the lift ticket office and ski lift are 100 yards to the south. Hiking trails are right out the door and FREE, covered parking is included as is the on premise swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ and more. Quiet and private, this is a nice, livable home.
Our telephone number will be provided once you book. You may use it to contact us anytime, including evenings and weekends. We want your stay to be pleasant and we're here 24/7 to assist you.

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home, Neal. Carol and I enjoyed the full kitchen and especially the fact that the skylight opened to cool off during the days. It was a pleasure to come home!
The place was well appointed and very handy for getting onto the river trail and walking in town. Too bad we don't ski or we'd move in. We'll definitely be back next summer. "Hello" to Deane at the Gallery. It was a perfect summer vacation.
Neal was a great host and this unit was perfect for my needs!
My girlfriend and I are avid skiers/snowboarders and loved that the unit is literally a one minute walk from lift 7 so we were off to a wonderful start. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable long term stay. It was very clean upon arrival and everything in the kitchen was neat/organized.
Neal was available for us the entire length of the stay. I work on the internet and require a special high speed connection, which he had set up for me in advance. We also stayed for a three month period and Telluride gets mail sent only to P.O. Boxes. No worries here as Neal allowed us to send mail to his gallery and was also on top of making sure we got our packages/mail.
Overall, the unit, location, host, town and mountain of Telluride were an absolute joy to experience and I would definitely recommend staying in this unit if you come to visit Telluride.
The location is good, short walk into town. The lay out is not ideal, with two bedrooms downstairs, but only one en-suite bathroom in the one bedroom, leaving the other bedroom to have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. The main bathroom is on the main floor, where there are no bedrooms. The loft uses the main-floor bathroom (not unusual). There was a giant, ugly, non-functioning (?) TV covered by a blanket in the living room, taking up space (presumably for storage) and unsightly. The coffee maker had a pot that was not the original pot for the coffee maker, and it was broken, with a shard of glass missing, a large crack in it, and exposed glass. The garbage disposal did not work when we arrived and caused the sink to plug up when used. Fortunately, our handy friend was able to fix it. After filling up the first garbage can, we discovered that there were no more garbage bags. The kitchen is poorly equipped for cooking in. The fan in the bathroom is requiring some kind of maintenance, as it makes a horrible sound when on, and the sign on the door requests that it be on when the shower is in use. Many of the windows have broken handles, so are dysfunctional. The spiral staircase, with sharp metal angled corners, is located in the entry where it is a safety hazard for someone bumping their heads. The code for the swimming pool did not work, so we had to climb over to get in. The swimming pool was the main reason we chose this listing. The information stated that there was a parking spot reserved for the unit. The parking spot that we were directed to had another car parked in it during the entire stay. Though the owner was only a phone call away, we never saw or heard from him. If you are only wanting the bare necessities and want to save money, it is a good option. But it is run down, dated, and in need of work.
We have stayed in Telluride many times in different places. Every place is different and has different amenities. This in towwn location was very close to several restaurants including There and Siam, two of the best in town. It is in walking distance to downtown and the gondola to Mountain Village. We could see the ski lift just a block away so if it were in ski season we could literally walk to the lift! the rooms were clean and homey and we felt very much connected with the local lifestyle. This is not a hotel, it is like a home away from home.
4 Lady ski pals just spent 4 nights in this condo and can heartily recommend it for a ski vacation! The place wins in all the important categories:
PRICE: quite fair for Telluride at height of ski season. Plus a covered parking space is included.
LOCATION: LESS THAN 5 MINUTES WALK TO LIFT 7 ! Condo is on the free shuttle route , but more important it's only blocks to downtown. Grocery, bakery, restaurants and shopping are nearby. If you like to go out apres ski, you want to be within walking distance of town! Unless you don't go out at night, stay in the town of Telluride rather than Mountain Village.
COMFORT: THE HOT TUB WAS HOT! Skiers will appreciate this.. The condo has a wonderful steam shower in the downstairs bath and jetted tub upstairs. The beds are comfortable. The living room has big comfy sofas, large TV, and a big dining table seating 8. There's a circular stairway leading up to 2 beds in the loft. The kitchen is well equipped with quality cutlery and glassware . Another plus is having a washer/dryer.
Owner Neal always answers his phone and is helpful and available. 10% discount at his jewelry store for us...
Computers worked fine. We will return!
Stayed here for a long weekend to see old friends and get in some spring skiing. The building is a bit of a maze but the unit itself is perfect. Very reasonably priced and was easy to access. We had everything we needed and were close to everywhere we wanted to go. It was nice having two private bedrooms as well as open bed-space near the living area for the early risers. Overall, an excellent deal.
My stay was fantastic we had plenty of space for our group and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The property was very clean and check in/out was very convenient. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Telluride.
We had a wonderful stay at this LuLu City condo. Lots of space and very clean. Everything just as listing and photos had indicated. Owner was available and helpful when we had minor questions. Would definitely recommend this place.
Telluride is beautiful with lots of outdoor activities for all experience levels and wonderful restaurants. Would definitely love to come back!
Telluride is truly a lovely, pet friendly town. Every household shows off its garden with beautiful flowers. There are lots of fine dining, all in walking distance. We had much fun walking on the trails by the river, strolling down the main street,. riding up/down the free gondola, etc.
The Lulu City Condo is conveniently located, and is spacious with plenty room for closets. drawers, pantries, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with quality cooking and dining tools. The lower two levels are big enough for my party of 4 adults plus two large dogs.
My T-Mobile phone failed to get signals during much of our travel in the SW Colorado region, so I didn't get a chance to contact the owner on our day of arrival. We arrived very late. Not only we couldn't find our designated parking space in the garage (it's already occupied), we were beyond shock after we unlocked and entered the unit (the prior renters left the home in an unkempt and chaotic condition and the unit was not cleaned before our arrival). The owner answered my late hour panic call, and apologized to the situation. He stayed on the line to help me unlock owner's closet, so to retrieve a few mismatched linens to help us sleep through the night.
The cleaning lady was sent in after we finished breakfast next morning. She did a great job to turn the rental unit to a beautiful vacation home, and we got to enjoy the rest of our stay.
Owner was super responsive to all my questions and concerns, and he kindly refunded us one night's rent and cleaning charge. I would recommend this rental property to future guests, but do call to confirm your arrival to avoid what we experienced the first night.
